It is the goal of the Ciutadella Walking Festival to promote hiking as a deseasonalised element going far beyond the summer season. It has been set up with the aim of being turned into an international event over the course of the years.

Different types of activities have been organised: long routes along the Camí de Cavalls (Bridle Path); shorter walks; thematic routes where one can discover the botany, ornithology and ethnology of the municipality; workshops that include a complementary activity such as Nordic Walking or Forest Bathing; and, moreover, all participants will be able to enjoy a “local produce tasting session”, a gastronomic sampling to awaken the senses.

Being the second year, the activity rates are at popular prices: €10 per excursion, including a small tasting of local produce from the Menorcan countryside at the start of each excursion.

The excursions will be led by experienced guides and include transportation by bus as required. Places are limited. Each participant must bring their own food and water. Bringing appropriate clothing and footwear for hiking activities is recommended.
